Washington County 4-H Day Camp - 4-H Summer Day Adventures

Registration is now open for the day camps offered in six Garrett county communities from 10am - 4pm. The day camp is open to ALL youth ages 6-12. 4-H membership is NOT required to participate. There will be STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) activities. The Garrett County Summer Day Adventure Camp is sponsored by the 4-H Program of the University of Maryland Extension, partnering with UME FSNE, Garrett County Health Department Outreach and AmeriCorps. Space is limited so sign up soon. Service Learning opportunities are available for older youth entering high school to work at our Summer Day Adventure Camps.

4-H is a community of more than 6 million youth all across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. More than 45,000 youth belong to 4-H in our state. 4-H gives young people opportunities to follow their own interests through 4-H projects ranging from photography to model rocketry, from dogs to horses, from foods to fashions, from robotics to the environment and more. 4-H members belong to community clubs where they learn to conduct meetings and to serve as officers and committees. 4-H club members plan fun programs, help their communities, and make friends with the guidance of trained 4-H volunteers and leaders.
