The goal of the CIT program is to provide high school level campers with information and training needed to become excellent camp counselors. Skills and concepts presented will enable campers to learn important life skills. Hands-on activities as well as side-by-side camper/counselor/CIT opportunities are part of the daily schedule. Different levels of CIT classes are offered, progressing from the most basic skills in camp counseling to more advanced preparation. A team-building field trip is also offered once per two-week session.
