YMCA Camp Miller - Wilderness Trip - Porcupine Mountains

The Porcupine Mountains Wilderness is located on the south shores of Lake Superior. The trip will begin on the beaches of Lake Superior and then move inland towards the mountains. Inland the landscape takes a sudden change towards moutainous lakes, panoramic overlooks, and cascading rivers. The Porcupine Mountain trip is designed for beginner level backcountry camping and hiking particpants. The trip will give campers a chance to hike the different landscapes of the Superior Lake Basin, helping to inspire a lifetime pursuit in outdoor wilderness travel. $780
