The YMCA offers an experience for youth entering grades 10-12 that are too old for Day Camp and too young to work as a Camp Counselor. C.I.T.’s must apply and have an interview in order to be accepted into the program. C.I.T.’s gain valuable leadership skills, assist the camp staff in activities with children and have fun too! C.I.T.’s are always supervised by a paid YMCA staff member and are never left alone with children. The CIT program is only offered at our Discovery Camp. The C.I.T. program has a weekly session enrollment fee. Once accepted into the program, the parent must complete a enrollment packet for the C.I.T. For children entering grades 10th-12th in the fall.
