Bushy Hill Day Camp - Bushy Hill CIT Teen Program

The Counselor in Training Program at Bushy Hill offers teens the unique opportunity to learn and develop skills as a counselor. Each session, the CITs will work with a director in a small group setting for the first 1-2 days. For the rest of the session they will work with a different field group each day to practice their skills, interact with different age groups and to observe various teaching styles. At the end of each day, there is a debrief with the director so that they can discuss specific situations with each other and the staff. Skills focused on: Conflict resolution, group management, mediation, safety, transition games, etc.
