At Archaeology Explorers Summer Camp, rising 3rd-12th graders and adults work with professional archaeologists to uncover the buried remains of the first European settlement in the interior of the United States. Participants also explore the ancient history of North Carolina’s native cultures through hands-on activities, excavation, artifact analysis, ancient technology demonstrations, and more.
