Archaeology Explorers - Adult and Child Archaeology Explorers Day Camp

Who says that summer camp is just for kids? Parents or grandparents can join their children through two days of fun-filled activities at the Berry archaeological site. Kids and adults will learn about archaeology and work with professional archaeologists to uncover the buried remains of a 16th-century Spanish colony that mysteriously disappeared more than 400 years ago. Participants explore the ancient history of North Carolina’s native cultures through hands-on activities, excavation, and more.
