Deer Crossing Wilderness Camp - 1-Week Wilderness Session

An introduction to a wilderness overnight camp for younger campers, typically ages 8-12, who have not been to overnight camp before. This is the first week of a two-week session. One-weekers participate in all camp activities, like canoeing, windsurfing, rock- and tree-climbing, sailing, arts and crafts. Most want to stay for a second week, for backpacking and other out-trips, optional whitewater rafting trip, Saturday night campfire, and end-of-session BBQ. Bus available to camp; parents must pick up camper at Loon Lake at the end of the one-week session. Limited availability.
