At Camp Galil, we do it all while teaching leadership skills and empowering campers to be social justice activists. Parents who want to foster independence and confidence love the way Galil nurtures their kids and inspires them to make the world a better place. What do Galil campers do every day? They play sports, tackle high and low ropes courses, swim, perform, garden, make art, and go on field trips. They soak up Jewish culture through Israel education, fun Hebrew language activities, Israeli folk dancing, and a spiritual Shabbat experience that begins with welcoming the Shabbat together and ends with a camp-wide Havdalah under the stars. Camp Galil is a progressive Zionist, rustic overnight Jewish summer camp for campers in 2nd-11th grade with a strong focus on social justice and youth leadership. Located in Bucks County, PA (just two hours from Brooklyn), we focus on cooperative living and welcome families from all streams of Jewish life to create a diverse and inclusive community. Camp Galil's youth leadership model empowers our talented counselors to design all aspects of our summer fun and educational program, and our historic partnership with the Habonim Dror youth movement connects our campers and staff with Habonim Dror youth members from around the world.
