Widjiwagan leads wilderness canoeing and backpacking trips for both girls and boys ages 12-18. We travel to some of the most pristine wilderness locations in the U.S. and Canada. Our shortest trips are 6 days in duration, with a few days on either side to prepare and to build relationships with other group members. Group sizes are generally no more than four campers to two counselors. Through wilderness adventure, we teach campers to work as part of a team, communicate effectively, care for and support others, and develop a high tolerance for adversity.
