Activities offered during the “Big 10” include: Baseball, Golf, Tennis, Basketball, Roller-Blade Hockey, Volleyball, Softball, Soccer, Football, Track, Ultimate Frisbee, Lacrosse, Archery, Riflery, Climbing. Menominee also offers a full range of water activities including: Red Cross Swimming, Water-Skiing, Wakeboarding, Tubing, Windsurfing, Sailing, Canoeing, Kayaking and Canoeing. You may also choose from Arts & Crafts, Woodworking, Rocketry, Photography and Camp Newspaper. YOU get to choose all of your activities, which rotate throughout the week. It is highly structured and professionally run and named after “Big 10” teams. Coaches and instructors follow a carefully planned program and check attendance rosters of those who have chosen their activities. Balancing the structure of “Big 10” activities are twice daily “General” free times-allowing you to get more of what you are scheduled for, try something new, or just kick back and chill out in the beautiful North Woods. The Leagues are a time when every camper may choose to participate on sports teams and other activities for fun. The boys who choose to participate in these leagues are placed on teams by counselors. Standing are kept and trophies are given out at the end of each session. Trophies are not only for the winning teams, but the “Most Improved”, “Best Sport”, and “Best Teammate”. There are also special camp days, inter-camp events, optional trips and socials. All of these activities fill out a well rounded day.
