Young Adult Adventure
Spend a week at Wanake! Choose from Wanake’s awesome activities. Rock climb, canoe, spend time with the horses, and swim. Cookout and enjoy campfires, Bible study, and worship with friends old and new. Attend a RubberDucks baseball game, while building lifelong friendships! This camp is designed for active young adult individuals with mild developmental disabilities. Individuals must be able to complete all hygiene tasks, participate in a large group setting with limited behavioral issues, and have excellent mobility. Campers need to be able to hike 3-5 miles over the course of the day. Campers live in rustic cabins on a hill without indoor plumbing or A/C, walking to the nearby bathhouse for toilets, sinks and showers.
