Campers will learn several hands-on medical skills, such as wound care, splinting, using a stethoscope, taking a pulse and blood pressure, introduction to CPR skills (no certificate), and transporting a victim via a two-person carrying system. Throughout the week, campers will be taught the basic idea of the Hippocratic Oath: appreciation and respect for themselves and others. Taught by PDS teacher, Ron Banas.
