Learn everything you need to know about the basics of fishing. Campers are introduced to various fishing terminology and techniques, where and when to fish, how to choose a rod and reel, baits, tying knots, lures, hooks and other fishing tackle. They will practice what they learn with games, casting target practice, and fishing in the ponds of PDS. Camp will also include two trips to local fishing hot spots. This is a great opportunity for your child to learn about fishing and perhaps create a new family activity for everyone to enjoy.
