Camp Bloomfield - Family Camp

Families with family members who are blind or visually impaired are invited to share in the camp experience together. Participants can attend pre-scheduled activities or set their own schedule at Camp Bloomfield. Campers can participate in horseback riding, archery, swimming, the climbing wall, high ropes course, arts & crafts, music, nature and sports. Special events include a Pajama Breakfast, Evening Campfire Programs, Talent Night and Awards Night & Dance. Parents will have the option to participate in an outing to Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade, but will be responsible for the cost of their own meals. While parents are on this outing, children will stay at camp and enjoy a special activity with camp staff. Cabins accomodate multiple families. Camp Counselors are assighted to each cabin to assist, but do not sleep there. Meal times are set and non-negotiable.
