Camp Otonwe provides an inclusive nurturing environment for youth to have fun, make friends, serve others, and explore the great outdoors. What We Do Young people are interdependent with the natural world, yet know relatively little about it through direct experience. Through our overnight and day camp programs, we encourage development of natural senses and provide an intimate connection with nature while youth learn leadership, cooperation with others, and community responsibility while building self-awareness and forming friendships. Our summer day camp located at Highbanks Metro Park is for youths ages 5 to 14 and include activities such as outdoor skills, camp outs, creeking, hiking, crafts, special guests and field trips. We offer a leadership program for ages 12 to 14. The camp day is 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm. Aftercare is available from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
