Camp created an opportunity to "practice" being at camp. Maybe it's because most kids have gotten used to thinking that the weekend is too short, because at First Time Camper they seem to have no problem taking on all the same challenges overnight camp offers. They make new friends and their beds; try new activities and food. And when they come back for a week of Overnight Camp, they're the ones showing the new campers where everything is and introducing them to our counselors. If your child isn't sure if they're ready for Overnight Camp, we suggest they try First Time Camper!
