Campers entering tenth grade are enrolled in our Counselor in Training (CIT) program. CITs will still get the camper experience with an elective based schedule, but will gain a more advanced understanding of how to be an effective counselor. Most of each day is dedicated to CITs helping in specialty areas as well as in different groups. They are mentored by counselors and instructors, as well as their Division Leader. CITs will spend a few periods a week working with their Division Leader on team building, problem solving and volunteer projects. CITs also take a variety of trips throughout the summer. Camp is an amazing experience for children of all ages. Not only do children grow and develop everyday life skills, but they establish lifelong friendships.
