Campers entering ninth grade are enrolled in our Leader in Training (LIT) program. LITs will still get the camper experience with an elective based schedule, but will start to gain an understanding of how to be an effective counselor. One third of each day is dedicated to LITs helping in specialty areas as well as in different groups. They are mentored by counselors and instructors, as well as their Division Leader. LITs will spend a few periods a week working with their Division Leader on team building, problem solving and volunteer projects. LITs also take a variety of trips throughout the summer. Camp is an amazing experience for children of all ages. Not only do children grow and develop everyday life skills, but establish lifelong friendships.
