Cartooning will focus on the art of the comic strip design, cartoon drawing, and techniques. Campers will learn the basics of developing, drawing, and writing their own cast of comic characters. Line drawing and color theory will be emphasized. This class is for campers ages 13 to 19 with basic drawing experience. There is an additional supply fee of $80 that will be used to purchase an art kit for this program. The fee is included in your registration fee. The instructor has selected specific materials and supplies necessary for this class. A kit will be ordered for you following your registration, and will be waiting for you when you arrive at IMC. The art kit is yours to keep after camp ends.
