Resident camp for girls, located on Kirkwood Lake and specializing in high Sierra backpacking for the past 77 years. We run a graduated backpacking program, with trips of 1-day, 3-days, 4-days, 7-days, and 11-days, and we accept campers entering 4th grade through college. Aside from backpacking units, we also offer a water-focused unit, in-camp units, and a counselor training program. We are staffed entirely by VOLUNTEERS, with an average of eight years of Two Sentinels staffing experience, though many of our staff have been working for Two Sentinels for over 20 years. We offer a Tag program for young children of volunteers, both boys and girls. In addition to backpacking, we offer swimming, kayaking, sailing, canoeing, hiking, archery, nature and astronomy, crafts, singing, games and fun! ROVERS go on a 4-day backpacking trip. When not on the trail, they participate in all other camp activities.
