With Classic Camp, girls decide what activities to do. Each camp session begins with girls planning their camp schedule together, based on the interests of the girls and the week’s theme. Camp staff help their living unit plan a balanced and well-rounded session. While every camper will not participate in every activity, every camper will get to try several different Classic Camp activities.
Swimming, nature exploration, leadership development, row boating, outdoor skills, arts, theater, songs, games, hiking, berry picking at the local berry farm, campfires and cookouts are just a few of the activity possibilities. For campers entering grades 4-8 you will also have the possibility of participating in kayaking, canoeing, archery, rock climbing and/or our low ropes challenge course and so much more!
In addition to all the exciting program areas there are to experience, campers sleep out under the stars, in open air cabins or tepees *Day Campers ONLY have a Thursday overnight during sessions 3, 4, 6 & 7*, all sessions plan and cook a meal in the out of doors together, enjoy campfires, flag ceremonies and community living.
