Camp Osito Rancho - Resident Camp

Located in Big Bear Lake, Camp Osito Rancho is nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains at 7,500 feet. With tall pines, boulders, and our very own Merriman Meadow. At Camp Osito Rancho we aim to run an inclusive program where all campers age 2nd-12th can feel welcome and participate. We work to create an environment where campers can increase self-esteem, foster new friendships, develop self-confidence, learn new skills, gain independence and explore the great outdoors. Camp activities include horseback riding, archery, a high adventure course (high and low ropes course, rock climbing and two zip lines), canoeing on a private lake, hiking, outdoor cooking, arts and crafts, and learning about nature. The camp has multiple indoor fireplaces along with an outdoor fire ring, complete with a stage, for evening campfires, songs, and skits. We offer 6 weeks of camp, each session running 6 days. Our Camp Leadership Program (CIT) is open to girls in grades 9th-12th. Our Counselor-in-Training Program offers an extensive 3 week program to foster the next generation of camp leaders. We offer roundtrip bus transportation from Arcadia, Long Beach and Woodland Hills for all session dates. Full or partial financial aid available.
