Specialty Programs combine all the activities of Resident Camp with a focus on one particular activity for part of the day. Many programs, like horses or fishing, are available in both Resident Camp and Specialty Programs, with the difference being the level of focus. This is the best of both worlds...Resident Camp activities, plus a Specialty of your choice. All Specialty Programs have limited enrollment, so register early! Fishing Expeditions is geared for campers 6th grade and older and includes a little faster paced instruction to allow time for a few more advanced techniques. Fishing Expeditions is an exciting program that will be filled with variety, adventure, and a fishing good time. We will learn to fly fish and then travel to a premier trout area where we always catch our dinner. We'll night fish from a pontoon boat looking for Northern Pike, Large Mouth Bass, and Panfish. Experience using a variety of baits, both live and artificial and try new techniques. We will fish from shore, docks, and boats. Then, top off the week with a Lake Michigan Charter trip (weather permitting) to bring home the real big ones. If you like to fish or want to learn, this will be the highlight of your summer. Come get hooked! Available to campers entering 6th grade & up.
