Camp Greenbrier - Camp Greenbrier
A Tradition of Fun Since 1898, Camp Greenbrier is located in the Alleghany Mountains along the beautiful Greenbrier River in Alderson, West Virginia, about 30 minutes from the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs. It is a wonderful, safe place where campers have fun, develop self-confidence, and make lifelong friends.
Boys 7 to 15 years old take part in the traditional boys’ camp program that includes archery and rifle, rock climbing, canoeing, snorkeling, kayaking, baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, tennis, swimming, crafts, woodcraft, lacrosse, track and many others. Campers in the boys’ camp choose all of their own activities, which are supervised by our wonderful staff. And there is one counselor for every three boys.
For those who are 16 to 17 years old, or who have completed the 10th grade, the Leadership Academy offers young men the chance to discover and improve on their individual leadership skills. Outdoor activities like rock climbing, AirSoft, canoeing and kayaking, a challenge course, and white water rafting are combined with instruction in areas such as time management, goal setting, public speaking, and leadership methods.
Camp Greenbrier has been owned and operated by the same family for three generations. Come join the tradition of fun!
