Camp Molly Lauman - Overnight Resident Camp

Molly Lauman offers traditional Girl Scout program. Overnight resident camp is a sleep-away camp that takes place during the summer and is open to all girls in grades 1-12, regardless of whether or not she is a registered Girl Scout (non-Girl Scouts pay an extra $12 membership fee). Girls sign up to attend individually or with a friend. Girls choose a program based on their interest and grade completed in school. Generally, all the girls in a program will share a living unit, typically consisting of platform tents or cabins, a shelter, a latrine, a hand washing station, and a fire ring. The platform tents and cabins sleep 4 girls each on cots and mattresses. Each unit usually has 10-24 girls with 2-4 counselors. Resident camp sessions can be from 2 1/2 to 13 days, depending upon the program and age level of the participants.
