The Learn to Lead program develops courageous and confident leaders. While at camp, girls of all ages practice decision-making, communicating with others, and working on conflict-resolution skills. Our Learn to Lead campers will put these skills to work, working with the other campers at times during camp. Learn to Lead campers will still experience everything at camp, from hiking to art to water activities and more, while learning leadership skills along the way. Learn to Lead campers will camp together. Campers who complete the Learn to Lead session can attend a second Learn to Lead: Take Action session for free. During this session, campers will further develop their leadership skills with daily hands-on experience as leaders for younger campers and planning and reflection time. During these camp sessions, campers will learn some of the things to earn their Counselor in Training (CIT) I and Counselor in Training (CIT) II pins.
