Located 86 miles northwest of New York City, nestled between the Delaware Water Gap and Catskill Mountains, our camp sits on 1,000 acres of natural beauty we’re lucky to call home. Camp is a magical environment created just for kids where they can explore nature, make new friends, learn life skills, develop self-esteem and create memories that will last a lifetime. Every one of our camp programs is designed with the same overarching goal: to ensure that every child we serve feels at home here. Safe, valued, engaged, and a part of something bigger than themselves. We have learned that when children feel safe, they take more chances. They try something new, make a connection with a peer whose background is different from their own, challenge themselves to more deeply master an activity they already love, or simply relax and have the time of their lives. Our campers and staff come from all five boroughs of New York City, across the United States, and from over 20 countries. Our campers and counselors come from every income level, and represent a richly diverse set of ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds. We intentionally build a community where every child feels welcome and valued, and where our differences enrich our experience. Living and playing together at camp helps kid to learn that it is the things we share–camp traditions, values, and friendships–that matter most and create bonds that last a lifetime.
