Camp Echo - Teen Programs
Teen programs at Camp Echo have been carefully crafted to offer progressive challenges and growth opportunities for teens entering 9th – 11th grades. Campers in these programs take on greater leadership roles as they return to camp year after year – all while staying active outdoors, making new friends, and having fun! Teens will be with campers their own age and can enjoy teen-specific activities like high-ropes, overnights, and teen parties.
In our Voyager wilderness programs, teens develop a range of critical life skills – from teamwork to self-reliance – while learning to cook their own food and enjoy adventures in outdoor settings away from Main Camp. Voyagers stay in Camp Echo’s most rustic sites where they build upon their wilderness skills while deepening their respect for nature, for others, and for themselves.
Camp Echo Leadership Programs help build youth into the leaders their community needs now. These one-week programs are focused on building essential life skills – from teamwork to self-reliance – while equipping teens to be leaders at camp and in their own communities. Throughout the experience, campers deepen their respect for nature, for others, and for themselves while learning what it takes to become a future camp counselor at camp.
