Girl Scouts Heart of the South believes that children with special needs should have the opportunity to experience and explore their capabilities in the great outdoors. It is because of this belief that we offer the Elizabeth Gwin Session for Special Children to make these dreams come true . . . one camper at a time. For more than 36 years, medical professionals and counselors, along with mature young people, have provided challenging and fun opportunities to each camper during this special session held annually at Camp Tik-A-Witha.
