This is the name for the joint camping week of the Upper Susquehanna Lutheran Synod and the Episcopal Diocese of Central PA. BASIC stands for “Brothers and Sisters in Christ.” Campers from Episcopal, Lutheran and other traditions gather for a joint week of outdoor ministry. We’ll celebrate our unity in Christ through our baptism and have all sorts of unique activities we only do this week of camp. We’ll also celebrate the importance of this partnership in the history of Mount Luther. This year, our theme is “The Light (K)Night Rises” as we look at how we can be super faith heroes to others.
