In 1998 AFTER SCHOOL was invited by the Verona Area School District to operate a day camp in Verona. The camp is located one block off of Main Street at Sugar Creek Elementary School. The program is based in the cafeteria with access to a large gymnasium, an art room, other classrooms, a camp office with storage, restrooms and most importantly plenty of outdoor space including sports fields, picnic tables and two playgrounds. Half-day Option for Summer School Students The weeks of July 6-31. Camp Wildcat has a half-day afternoon option for students enrolled in summer school. Campers enrolled in the half-day option may arrive between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. This option is available to children enrolled in summer school. Summer school students may participate at camp for the full day on Fridays since there are no summer school classes.
