Few places in the world are better suited for observing sea turtles in their natural habitat than Costa Rica. With six of the world's seven species of turtles found in this country's waters, the various beaches are hot spots for researchers and conservationists from around the world. Several long term research projects have been studying nesting behavior for decades. We will join one such organization and become an integral part of their sea turtle patrol and nesting data collection.
