Rockwood Adventures Teen Travel is an innovative option for teens who want to be away during the week but home on most weekends. Founded in 1990, this program is for teens entering 6th-9th grades and who live in the Philadelphia area. Travel is throughout the eastern United States on luxury motor coaches and teens spend their days visiting fun, teen friendly attractions such as shows, historic sites, boat rides, amusement and water parks, ball games, factory tours, arcades, bowling, lasertag and more! Tuition is listed for 1 or 2 week specific sessions. Should you combine sessions and travel longer, there are discounted tuition rates for more weeks attending. Campers stay in hotels for most trips and in cabins at Club Getaway. Meals are provided and all campers receive a duffel bag to pack in each week. Extra expenses would be 5 camp shirts and spending money. There are a number of options....three 5-day trips and two 10-day trips. Campers may choose to travel for 1all 5 sessions for 1 - 7 weeks. Campers may also choose to combine 1-5 weeks of travel with at least 3 weeks of day camp at Sesame/Rockwood or 1-6 weeks of travel and at least 2 weeks of day camp at our sister camp, Diamond Ridge. Safety and supervision are our number 1 priority. Our staff are carefully chosen and have experience with travel and working with this age camper. an extensive training is held in June to cover all aspects of teen travel supervision.
