Learn what it means to be a farmer, and get a little dirty during this exciting week of hands-on farm activities! Each day will focus on a different farm animal. In groups organized by grade, campers will work in the garden, collect chicken eggs, groom the pony, milk the cow, feed the pigs, and pet the sheep and goats. Daily activities will include cooking, arts and crafts, games, songs, stories, and quiet reflection time.
All activities are designed for the developmental needs of each age group. Our youngest campers will explore the farm through the five senses, eating fresh-picked produce, and playing with the farm animals, while older campers will explore farming practices, such as humane livestock management, sustainable growing practices, and food preservation. All campers will share in silly songs and skits at All-Camp Gatherings and round out the session with wacky Farm Olympics!
Groupings are to reflect pricing structure. Campers will be placed with other campers of the same grade.
After camp is available until 5:30 pm
