Hi-Tech Hide and Seek Grades 6-8 Your mission, should you choose to accept it: participate in a high-tech treasure hunting game called Geocaching, played by adventure seekers like you all over the world. This week you will be on the lookout for the Junior Pirates as you learn the survival skills needed to keep your unit together. Get to know the trails around Conowingo using your GPS unit to hide the pirate’s treasure deep in the woods into the uncharted Conowingo acres. You will pack up your bags and hideout from the buccaneers one night by using bear bags, cat holes, white fuel stoves and purifying water to Leave No Trace. You will learn how to primitive camp and create some gourmet outdoor cooking by the end of this trek.
