Green Acres Camp - Kreative Kangaroos

Kreative Kangaroos is Green Acres Camp’s program for its youngest campers. To be eligible, children must turn four by September 1, 2027, be enrolled in PreK for fall 2027, and be fully toilet trained at camp. Activity groups are intentionally kept small to foster a nurturing environment, and the camp day offers a balanced mix of indoor and outdoor activities, combining free choice with structured time. Campers participate in swim instruction through group games designed to build pool safety and swimming skills in a relaxed, no-pressure setting. They also enjoy a shaded playground adjacent to their classroom and daily “Unit Choice Time,” during which counselors lead creative projects, games, and activities. Each week, campers rotate through specialty programs in science, arts and crafts, theater and music, athletics, and nature exploration. The summer is further enriched by themed spirit days and special events, including a Fourth of July parade and a staff vaudeville show to close the season.
