Sierra Nevada Journeys invites you to a one-of-a-kind weekend designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and connection. Campers build new friendships and challenge themselves on our renowned adventure course, with opportunities to climb the Alpine Tower or zip through the skyline. Along the way, they’ll discover just how exciting science can be. Thanks to our generous supporters, Girls in STEM Camp is free, with a nominal $20 registration fee. Accommodations, meals, and all programming are included. The camp takes place at our beautiful 1,500-acre Outdoor Education Camp, located just an hour north of Truckee, CA, featuring modern facilities and endless space to explore and learn. Girls in STEM Camp is open to students entering grades 6 through 8 (ages 11 to 14) for the 2026–27 school year who are enrolled in a Nevada or California school and qualify for the Free and Reduced School Lunch program.
