Whishmaker stables summer camp offers a basic start of the foundation needed to excel with riding horses. We focus on the hunter jumpers but its a solid foundation for any discipline. We pride ourselves on teaching good horsemanship both under saddle and on the ground. Our camp is suitable for kids who have never ridden as well as kids who are consistently in a riding program. We have a large barn of 46 horses and ponies so we have an option for any level rider. Outside of riding we have educational sessions that focus on many different aspects of horse care such as - proper diets, horse anatomy, tack parts and basic first aid. We also have arts and craft time. This is a very hands on camp and the kids do and learn alot.
