Camp La Junta - Summer Boy's Camp

Camp La Junta believes that every child is unique and benefits from a broad range of experiences in a positive environment, as well as a strong connection with nature. Camp La Junta is a private, traditional, recreational, overnight camp for boys offering four-week or two-week sessions. Camp La Junta is situated on 225 acres of scenic Texas Hill Country, alongside a mile of the crystal clear, spring-fed Guadalupe River. Summer camp provides opportunities for Success, New Skills, Planning, Cooperation, Problem Solving, Creativity, Leadership and Happiness – important components of the 21 Century Skill Set for success. We do this in an environment free of electronics, especially video games and smart phones. A summer camp experience is an outstanding and secure way for today’s young people to pick up important experiences in self-sufficiency, teamwork, communication and problem solving. At Camp La Junta, our activities and programs are designed to instill a strong sense of independence and self-assuredness in our campers. We set summer goals for our campers to build character, a sense of service, new life skills and an appreciation of the outdoors. Kids need summer camp. Kids need to be kids in a healthy environment, with freedom to grow and learn about themselves and their world, and at Camp La Junta, we provide that opportunity. On our website, www.lajunta.com, you'll find photos, video, newsletters, a brochure and tons of general camp information. Please read over the information, and if it sounds amazing, simply call/text 830-238-4621 to contact our outstanding staff.
