Our cast of campers have the exciting opportunity to produce a full-scaled musical in just three weeks! In this special program, campers learn theatre skills and gain acting experience through hands-on participation in the production process. Each session will lead its participants through auditioning, choreography, staging, costuming, and vocal rehearsals all leading up to the opening night of their BIG SHOW! Parents, family, and friends are invited to come enjoy the show on the last day of camp. On with the show! Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence... and special powers! She's unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing, however – the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts and could be the school pupils' saving grace!
