Summer at Carolina Creek: Make no mistake, this isn’t classic Sunday school. Campers will experience impactful worship, thoughtful teaching, creative dramas and engaging small group discussions to equip and challenge campers to take their next step in their faith. New ways of thinking. New ways of being. What kid wouldn’t love to slide down a tiger’s tail on the way to breakfast, climb in a Jungle, or take a dip in an Ocean water park? Schedules and activities are intentionally designed for younger and older campers, allowing for success and challenge for each age group. Campers gain confidence, learn to make friends, acquire skills, overcome fears, and ask their questions about how to experience and know the love of Jesus. This experience is available to children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade. Powerful Lessons Taught in a Fun and Engaging Way We have a blast in large group games out on the field or in the Ark, and when we come together for worship at our outdoor chapel on the bank of Carolina Creek or in our daily keynote sessions. But the best part is our small groups, with only five campers per counselor, talking about our time with God, reflecting on the Bible passage, the dramas that reinforce the theme of the day, and what we learned about God through the adventures we had.
