Nature Camps, Inc. - Camper Program

The camper program for children ages 5-16 emphasizes outdoor exploration and learning on Nature Camps' 180 acres of woodland preserve along the banks of Deer Creek. Children choose from a variety of daily activities which may include: hiking, biking, swimming, river walking and exploration, natural crafts, and cooperative games. The camper program focuses on fostering connection with the natural world and encouraging a sense of wonder and active inquiry. Children prepare for making choices, becoming self-directed and responsible for their own learning - all in an atmosphere of caring and respect. At the end of each two-week session, families are invited to attend a Family Overnight and Concert in the Woods.
