In partnership with Indiana Youth Group and sponsored in part by Indy Pride, Queer Camp provides a safe, accepting space for campers who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. At Jameson Camp, we believe gender affirming care is critical to the well-being of queer youth and the community as a whole. Housing options include girls only, boys only, and all-gender. Any camper may opt for all-gender cabin assignment until the option is full. *In recent years, the word 'queer' has be reclaimed by the LGBTQIA+ community as a self-affirming umbrella term that creates a culture of togetherness and deepens the bonds between people experiencing othering, marginalization, violence, and other forms of oppression based on their sexuality or gender.
