Girls ages 8 - 17: What are YOU doing this summer? Why not spend a week or two (or more!) dancing, making new friends & having a BLAST with American Dance Training Camps - the ULTIMATE overnight dance camp in the beautiful Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Canada? Our BC Canada home is Quest University, a fully accredited liberal arts school set amid the spectacular scenery of British Columbia's Coast Mountains. Located between Vancouver & Whistler on the famous "Sea to Sky" highway, the campus is big enough to contain everything for a stimulating dance camp experience, and small enough to feel like home. At Quest, our campers stay in traditional residence halls. Each room is single-occupancy (no roommate), but rooms are part of a "suite" where two bedrooms share one bathroom, so campers will be able to walk through their bedroom to the adjoining bedroom of their roommate. Hallway blocks are organized by age and ADTC's staff is housed in suites on each floor, providing 24-hour supervision & support. Amenities at Quest include community lounges (for doing arts & crafts and hanging out), laundry facilities, and a Dance Canteen for basic supplies, snacks, apparel & souvenirs. ADTC’s dance instructors are members of some of the best national and international studios and performance groups. Our dance instructors are Broadway and MTV performers, finalists from your favorite dance TV shows, collegiate dance team competitors, teachers and even Dance Company members! Many of our dance instructors return year after year. ADTC’s camper-to-counselor ratio is 7:1. In addition to core dance classes in contemporary, hip hop & jazz (styles of jazz vary and may include lyrical, modern or Broadway), you get to choose between ballet, tap or world dance for your core elective dance discipline each week. Campers take at least four dance classes per day, and at week’s end, you get to show off your new moves in a big Friday Night Performance for family, friends and fellow campers. Day camp option is available upon request! Outside of dance, ADTC Coast Mountains campers can enjoy awesome activities like swimming, horseback riding, kayaking on Lake Tahoe, roller skating, rock wall, trampolines, a ropes course, mini golf & more!
