Grades 8-12 Build your backpacking skills before setting out on a three-day, off-camp backpacking trip. Learn the basics, including map-and-compass navigation and Leave No Trace camping ethics; plan your own mountain meals in cooking groups; learn the dos and don'ts of packing your gear; then set off to conquer the trail.
