A new hiking challenge that takes us out of the crowded High Peaks and into some of the most beautiful and underrated spots in the Adirondacks. Over the course of the week, these campers will complete the “Saranac Sixer Challenge,” hiking six total mountains for a combined total of 8,000ft of elevation gain. A little different than most of our other trips, this week in the wilderness will involve setting up your base-camp at the same back-country campsite all week and completing the six hikes as day hikes, it’s a hiking adventure more than a backpacking adventure.
