In Virtual Game Design, kids transform from gamer into game developer! In these live interactive sessions, kids take their passion for video games to a new level by learning to develop their own playable video games. An educator will teach them how to design arcade-style video games by applying key skills of character development, environment creation, and innovative gameplay with a professional level game design software. Kids will install and use GameMaker software and a library of graphics and music files to continue to develop video games while online and continue to create new ones after the program is over. Kids will be able to play the video games they design with friends and family on Windows computers.
