Cabrillo Summer Youth Program - Arts Adventures: Forests and Nature

Little artists are encouraged to be creative, expressive, and use their imaginations as they experiment with drawing, watercolor, collage, printmaking, and oil pastels using a wide array of tools and tactile techniques. Each day we'll explore a new medium to create art projects and images of our beautiful redwoods, and amazing forest creatures including banana slugs, owls, hawks, and colorful butterflies. We’ll have a daily story time that will focus on artists and concepts, and hands-on games that connect to our themes. Little artists will take home their finished masterpieces each day, and lots of new ideas to continue creating at home! If this is your child's first time in a classroom setting, we know it can be both exciting and scary. Our small instructor-to-child ratio ensures that they'll receive the support they need in a fun and safe environment. Parents are welcome to stay for as long, or as little as they like, as their child eases into their day. Our camps offer a great opportunity to help transition your child into an educational setting with our experienced instructors!
