Do you love surf and skate graphics, garment graphics, or posters? Do you love to design and illustrate, or to edit photos? Then this camp is for you! Through a series of fun and fast-paced exercises, students will explore photo editing, learn tools and techniques to manipulate type, and experiment with digital illustration. Students will translate their creative and visual design ideas into digital art with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, and use Wacom Intuos 4 digital drawing tablets to see how professional designers illustrate. Students will use DSLR cameras to take portraits, which they will edit. This is a fun introduction for students interested in learning more about graphic design. Take your creative design ideas from concept to reality in this hands-on, activity based camp! Some DSLR cameras are available for students to share, or they may bring their own to class.
